Design Korea Pavilion at Maison&Objet September 2024, Smart Gift Hall

- Join us to explore 25 Korean brands presenting inspiring designs!

At the world-famous Maison&Objet 2024 trade fair in Paris, the DESIGN KOREA Pavilion showcases 25 leading Korean home essentials & living brands to present on the global stage.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and the Korean Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP) join to host this exhibit. The curators have selected 25 brands presenting inspiring designs in furniture, tableware, jewelry, bags, and stationery. The DESIGN KOREA Pavilion can be found at the front entrance of the Smart Gift section (hall 2) throughout the five-day event from 5-9 September 2024.

In support of the international expansion of Korean design companies, designers, and products, KIDP has decided to participate in the Maison&Objet exhibition for the third time, a world-renowned fair for consumer goods and design. In 2023, the exhibition attracted over 7,200 visitors, with approximately 670 buyers engaging in contract discussions with participating companies. Notably, this resulted in actual contracts with global partners such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Starbucks and etc.

At the Design Korea Pavilion, visitors can discover a variety of Korean design brands, each echoing the pop and vibrant color themes of the exhibition space.

Signature kitchen knife and cutting board set

Heriter's signature set includes a chef's knife, paring knife, a walnut cutting board and a knife stand.

The Santoku-style kitchen knife is crafted by Master Im Jung-shin and uniquely designed by Heriter.

The cutting board & stainless-steel stand is seamless and holds blades with magnetic force, allowing hygienic keeping of the board and can hold various types of knives. It is designed to drain water from the surface of knives and cutting boards, so it also functions as a drying rack.
